EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENT COACHING

We offer coaching in Emotional Intelligence and Anger Management. We use skill enhancement strategies custom to each individual and use the internationally recognized EQ-i 2.0 Pre/Post Assessment. This service is an individualized process to build on your emotional intelligence skills for overall success in life and at work. Additionally, we facilitate court ordered and other referred Parenting Classes. Children are beautiful jewels that have been entrusted to our care. We have a choice to polish the jewels to their natural brilliance or to dim them. We help parents engage their children in constructive ways to face life with confidence and optimism. Our Breakthrough Parenting methods will provide a clear understanding of child rearing and human relationship. We will help parents move your family from struggle to cooperation.

What are Anger Management classes?

While most people have heard the term "anger management," not everyone knows what anger management classes actually entails. Whether you're new to therapy or you regularly attend a therapist, it's possible that anger management classes might be suggested if you're working on your emotional health or learning to control your temper. Anger is a healthy emotion that usually occurs in response to perceived threat or discomfort. It can activate us to respond to a particular stimulus or communicate to others what's going on internally. 

Now and then, you may feel and express anger towards a situation or person. But you might have an anger issue if your anger:

  • Happen too frequently and excessively

  • Puts you in a rage

  • Starts to affect your relationship with yourself, the people around you, at school and work

  • Impacts your health and well-being

If your anger leads to negative outburst or you direct it towards another person, or makes you act out in ways that leave you feeling overwhelmed, know that you're not alone. Research shows that about 1 in 13 U.S. adults has experienced anger issues. 

Anger manifests itself through physical, emotional, and behavioral signs. If you have anger issues, you may experience these signs constantly and intensely. 

Anger management classes are a form of behavior therapy, and they offer guidance to anyone experiencing anger or emotional issues. The courses are led by a well-qualified instructor who is knowledgeable in emotional intelligence, anger management, and healthy communication skills.

There's a range of courses in anger management available, and the group leader is skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or a similar modality. Anger management classes come in a variety of lengths and delivery methods, depending on an individual's needs.
